Opaque red. Powerful, oaky nose, smokey black fruits; plums and blackberries... a bit of a show wine, very impressive on the tasting bench.... Hard to dismiss the sheer density of fruit and tannins and acidity are well integrated. Good length too, so this should go the distance.” 17.5/20
