2001

The season commenced with excellent flowering producing above average fruit set in much of Coonawarra. This contributed to a record breaking vintage for the region. After much rain in early March, mild weather later in the season resulted in an extended ripening period that produced fruit of excellent colour, bold ripe flavours and good tannin structure.
